So its looks like the fall and holidays aren't too far off, which means AAA games will be coming out in full force. What really grinds my gears is how there was a dry spell of games before the fall, resulting in me dropping a lot of money in a short period of time.
Since I am solely a PS3 owner I am planning on picking up Battlefield 3, Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3 (so many 3's, coincidence?), so I am kind of happy that I buy 360 games since I would probably have to skimp on some partying on during the school year.
So I have an action plan, first I will get Resistance 3, then Uncharted 3 and wait until Christmas for Battlefield 3. I feel if I space out my purchases then I won't feel as much buyers remorse. If all else fails I think I might have to strike a deal with Santa Claus again this year.

Warhawk Revisited
I don't really have regrets when it comes to gaming but I think I actually regret forgetting about Warhawk.
I remember I was really hyped before the launch of this game and I got it as soon as it came out. At the time back in 2007 Warhawk was one of the few good PS3 games. It was and online only game that had only cost $40 and it came with a kick ass blue tooth headset.
When I first played the game I was amazed by the visuals and I really like the freedom of being an infantry unit; driving jeeps, tanks or dog fighting in the skies above the battle field. I really did enjoy Warhawk but it was over shadowed by all the other games that were released later on in the year ( I blame it on COD 4).
About a week ago I brought Warhawk to my friends house and we did a some free for all games and had a great time. The game still looked pretty and has aged very well.
The one thing that makes me regret not playing as much in the past is the fact that nobody plays Warhawk anymore (I'm not sure if the dedicated servers were shut down). So here I am not stuck with a great online game that I can't play online anymore, I guess life is unfair sometimes.
