Call me a sheep but after I watched a 3D TV yesterday I am officially sold on the idea and I am considering getting one of the new TV sets next year.
At first I watched a bit of Fifa world cup in 3D but I did not seem that much more interesting to watch than in 2D. Then I moved on to watching parts of a CGI film in 3D and some nature show in 3D and they looked great. But what really caught my eye was when gameplay of Motorstorm: Pacific Rift came onto the screen and in 3 dimension that game looked absolutely stunning. I was shocked to say the least this is why I can buy into the whole 3D gaming trend. While the demo of the game was being played you could see a lot of depth; foreground ,mid ground and background it added a lot of depth to the game. Also, the it was cool when a car would run over foliage and it would seem like the damaged leaves were coming out of the TV or how the dirt that the cars kick up flies out toward you. Those little details are the things that made the game looks great. As a hardcore gamer I thoroughly enjoyed idea of having a more rich gaming experience with this new tech and it definitely helps the player become more immersed in the game.
That brief experience will be one that I will remember for a while, I refused to buy into the whole 3D movie fad at the movie theaters because it hurts my eyes too much and the 3D effects didn't look so great. But watching visual content in the comfort of your own home in high def, with great effects like those seen in Motorstorm and less strain on my eyes , well that is going to be one hell of an experience.
U will have more followers just wait and c!
